• 2013 saw a lot of celebrity makeovers—whether it was someone chopping off their hair or changing hair color—but unfortunately, not all of them were good. Click through to see some of our least favorite celeb transformations.

By May 2013 we had already made peace with Anne Hathaway's pixie. Not only was the short cut for a movie role, but it didn't look half bad on the actress. Then, she changed hair colors. While we love platinum blonde hair, we could not get used to the color on Anne, whose features are more suited for dark hair. Thankfully, the actress returned to her brunette ways.

  • Miley Cyrus has had some big makeover moments this past year. She's started growing out her pixie, she bleached her eyebrows and, most recently, she debuted a bob wig. Our love for her pixie makes us biased, but we just can't stand those wispy little bangs on her. We'd even prefer those pigtail buns that she wore to the VMAs.

  • We admire Rihanna's love for makeovers—the singer is constantly changing up her look—but one hairstyle we didn't care for was her super short curly 'do. It came off as more Prince than pop star. Even Rihanna seemed to regret the choice

  • When Julianne Hough took out her extensions last year, it was the best hair makeover ever. She transformed her cheesy "Dancing with the Stars" image to a chic actress with just a snip of the scissors. Unfortunately, Julianne recently put her super long extensions back in. Tsk, tsk.

  • 2013 has definitely been the year of the pixie—all the celebs are doing it. Unfortunately, the super short hairstyle isn't flattering on everyone. Jennifer Hudson's chop made our list of All-Time Worst Pixies

  • There was a collective scream of "Nooooooo" when actress Shailene Woodley cut off all her hair. We know it was for a movie role, but she had the prettiest long hair ever. RIP Shailene's hair.

  • We get it: micro bangs are very trendy right now, but they should really come with a warning that reads "Does not look good on everyone." The new cut looks way too harsh on Camilla Belle.

  • Sometimes a bob/bangs combo looks so chic, and sometimes it makes us very sad. This is one such instance. Bryce Dallas Howard needs a cut that shows off her gorgeous complexion.
