• This photo is almost good enough to be presented entirely without comment... but we'll still comment. We're not exactly sure how Paris Hilton managed to get this dark in the first place, but we can say that seated next to Courtney Love, she looks like a slice of burnt toast to Courtney's Wonder Bread.

  • Stunning New Zealand-born supermodel Rachel Hunter certainly won the genetic lottery, but bad tans do happen to good people.

  • We hate to call it, but Christina Aguilera is no stranger to unfortunate self-tanning incidents. If your scalp is a completely different color than the rest of your face, that is not a good sign.

  • We usually love Kelly Osbourne's look, so we're especially offended that someone let her leave the house with her skin looking this sickly shade of Oompa Loompa.

  • Most of the time we're happy to admit that the divisive Kim Kardashian's beauty game is on point, but that does not apply to this concerning look, which involves too much bronzer on top of an already unnatural-looking tan. Ouch.

  • Heidi Klum loves herself a good tan, but word to the wise: your skin tone should never be an almost exact match to your dress.

  • Jennifer Lawrence is a real beauty, but even beauties can't pull off a fake tan as orange-leaning as this one. It's just too much—and super distracting from the rest of her (otherwise totally cute) look.

  • Lindsay Lohan's general beauty look is, well, one self-tanner calamity after another. We loved the fallen actress in her days as a fair, freckly youth, but probation violations aren't the only thing she's a repeat offender of.

  • Jessica Simpson has come a long way from her early '00s looks—hell, she's even a fashion mogul, which is way more than most celebrities popular around that time can say for themselves. While we're happy to compliment her on her other accomplishments, this orangey skin tone is not one of them.
