We know a slew of home recipes for making your own beauty treatments but after the day is done, who has time? We barely even have time to cook dinner. But here are five recipes with ingredients you can find in your kitchen and slather together in less than five minutes.
Use lemon or apple cider vinegar as a shampoo. They have the same acidic level as your hair so they help to rid your strands of product buildup. Just mix the juice of one lemon or two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar into a cup of water. Apply all over hair in the shower and comb through. Rinse hair and then condition as usual.
If there is only one ingredient you use, have it be beets. You can use the vegetable for a subtle pop of color on your lips and cheeks. Just cut a small piece of raw beet and use the juice inside. Because they are translucent, they work on any skin tone!
