The Metropolitan Museum's annual Costume Institute Gala is basically the Oscars of fashion. But with this year's theme centered around the new Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit, it was the edgy beauty looks that really stood out. Probably the biggest surprise of the night was Anne Hathaway who debuted a new hair color, along with a black and blue smoky eye (maekup artist Adam Breuchaud mixed Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Orchid with Matte Eye Colour in Deep Night to get the perfect shade). We loved Sienna Miller's spiked headband and jacket. Hair stylist Oscar Blandi created texture in Sienna's hair with Pronto Dry Sculipting Pomade and Pronto Instant Glossing Cream before adding an Eddie Borgo spiked accessory.
"I just went through and cut underneath her hair and cut off the blonde, leaving her with darker roots, which lends itself to the punk rock look," said hair stylist Chris McMillan, who used Living Proof Hold Flexible Hairspray to create texture.
