Step 1: Use Oribe Maximista Thickening Spray ($26, Oribe.com) to blow dry the hair and get all-over volume.

Step 2: Spray Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($39, Oribe.com) at the roots for added lift and hold.

Step 3: Use a 1-inch curling iron, such as Brazilian Heat After Dark Titanium Curling Iron ($49.99, Folica.com) on 2-inch square sections to create spiral curls around the whole head.

Step 4: After hair has cooled a bit, brush the curls out and spray a little more Dry Texturizing Spray to finish with more movement to the hair.
