Get The Look: Kerry Washington’s Pastel Purple Eye Shadow

Here's how to recreate one of our favorite makeup looks from last night's red carpet.

Kerry Washington had one of our favorite makeup looks at last night’s Golden Globes awards: a shimmery, lilac-hued smoky eye that added a pop of color to her dress’s neutral palette. Here’s how makeup artist Carola Gonzalez created the look.

Kerry Washington

Step 1: Carola created a flawless canvas by applying Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24H Foundation in Suede to Kerry’s skin.
Step 2: On the cheeks, she added Lancôme Blush in Love in Pommettes D’Amour, a palette featuring a hot pink and a bright tangerine shade.
Step 3: To create Kerry’s bold, smoky eye, Carola used two shades of Lancôme Color Design Eye Shadow: Evermore Lilac (that pretty purple) and Mochaccino. She lined the eyes with Lancôme Artliner in Smoke and applied Hypnose Star Mascara to the lashes.
Step 4: Carola finished off the look with a soft pink lip: Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro in Blush.
