  • "I always use waterproof mascara for awards ceremonies, especially when my client is a nominee!" said Chanel celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee, who coated Anne's lashes with Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir ($30, chanel.com). "I wanted to avoid matching the lips to the dress," Kate explained, so she mixed Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in Sduisante ($34, chanel.com) with concealer to get the right shade. Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel used Fekkai Coiff Nonchalant Piecing & Forming Wax ($25, fekkai.com) to give Anne's short hair the perfect texture.

  • To create "a super soft focus pink haze around the eye," makeup artist Beau Nelson applied Chanel Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Rose Favorite ($28.50, chanel.com), then added Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Raffinement ($59, chanel.com) to give Kristen's eyes smoky shape. He lined along the top lashes with Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Santal ($30, chanel.com).   • We actually gasped when we saw Halle's gorgeous complexion in HD. Her glow came courtesy of Revlon ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup in Caramel ($13.99, revlon.com), along with Chanel Powder Blush in Frivole ($43, chanel.com), said Chanel celebrity makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua. "To keep the look softer, instead of black inside the lower lid and in the lower lash line, I used Chanel Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Espresso [$30, chanel.com]," Kara explained. And Halle's lipstick shade? Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in Private Viewing ($8.49, revlon.com).

  • "Zoe's eyes were the big focus!" said makeup artist Vera Steimberg. She used Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Mirifique ($36, chanel.com) over Zoe's lids, and added depth to the outer part of her eyes with Chanel Quadra Eyeshadow in Smoky Eyes ($59, chanel.com). She applied Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long-Lasting Eyeliner in Santal ($30, chanel.com) on the inner rims of the eye and finished with Le Volume de Chanel mascara ($30, chanel.com) on Zoe's lashes. Hair stylist Mara Roszak used Moroccanoil Treatment ($43) and Glimmer Shine Spray ($27.50, moroccanoil.com) to give Zoe's hair a super glossy finish.

  • Makeup artist Carola Gonzalez used the coral embellishments on Kerry's Miu Miu gown as inspiration for her makeup. To give her a radiant look, she applied Lancme Blush Subtil in Brilliant Berry ($30, nordstrom.com) to Kerry's cheeks. For the eyes, Carola used Lancme Color Design 5-Pan Shadow and Liner Palette in Sienna Sultry ($49, sephora.com) and applied Lancme Hypnse Star Mascara ($28, sephora.com) to the lashes. Lips were given a subtle hint of color with Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro 202 ($32, saksfifthavenue.com) and Lancme Rouge in Love in Rose Boudoir ($26, sephora.com).

  • To create Jessica's Hollywood glamour waves, hair stylist Renato Campora created a deep side part and prepped her damp hair with Vidal Sassoon Pro Series Boost & Lift Foaming Air Mousse ($3.99, drugstores) for volume. He blew out the hair with a large round brush, then spritzed with Heat Protect & Shine Spray ($5.49, drugstore.com) before curling with a 1/2 inch curling iron and setting in pin curls. Once set, he brushed out the curls and finished with Flexible Hold Hairspray ($4.99, cvs.com).

  • To get the Les Misrables star's "beautiful, soft updo," prep wet hair with Suave Professionals Captivating Curls Whipped Cream Mousse ($2.85, target.com) and Moroccan Infusion Styling Oil ($7, drugstore.com), says hair stylist Jenny Cho. Use a diffuser to dry hair and bring out natural waves, then mist with Touchable Finish Lightweight Hold Hairspray ($2.85, target.com) and tease hair at the crown before twisting the top and sides into a bun. Attach the bottom section of hair and pull out strands around the ears to loosen the style. Finish off the look with Amanda's purple smoky eye, a blend of Cl de Peau Beaut Satin Eye Color in shades 106 and 108 ($45 each, nordstrom.com).

  • The Oscars are hardly a wash-and-wear occasion, even with a cut this short. To style Charlize's chop, hair stylist Enzo Angileri prepped her wet hair with Wella Professionals Natural Volume Styling Mousse and blow dried to set her strands in place. He brushed the sides down, but left volume on the top and used Shape Shift Molding Gum to create the perfect texture.
