It kind of goes without saying that Blake Lively is one of our eternal beauty crushes. Whether she’s wearing long mermaid waves or rocking a high, tight ponytail, the girl always looks gorgeous, so she’s always one to watch. It should also go without saying that when we heard she’d be making her first post-baby red carpet appearance last night for the “Age of Adaline” premiere in NYC, we were all ears. (Or eyes, rather.)
The star certainly didn’t disappoint: Gracing the red carpet in a glamorous red gown, she looked totally classic from head to toe, with a stunning makeup look to match. The best part? Blake’s makeup was done by Elaine Offers for L’Oreal Paris, which means that you can find each product used at your favorite drugstore. That’s right—you can have every single product on this list for $25 under. Here’s how to get the look …
Step 1: Elaine prepped skin with L’Oreal Paris RevitaLift Miracle Blur for a smooth, even-toned canvas.
Step 2: She then used L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Sun Beige for all-over coverage, then topped off Blake’s cheekbones with Magic Lumi Highlighter for radiance. Elaine also blended the highlighter into the inner corners of Blake’s eyes.
Step 3: Elaine used the mid-toned browns in the brand new L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude to add depth and dimension to Blake’s eyes, contouring the corners with one of the darker brown shades.
Step 4: Next, Elaine applied L’Oreal Paris Smokissime Eyeliner in Black as close to the lash line as possible to add definition before lining Blake’s waterlines with Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter for the bright-eyed look the actress is known for.
Step 5: Elaine used L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Plumper in Light/Medium to fill in Blake’s brows and emphasize her arches.
Step 6: She then coated Blake’s lashes with the classic, can’t-go-wrong L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara.
Step 7: For Blake’s gorgeous natural-but-better lip look, Elaine blended a combination of L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lipliner in Coral and L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Balm Pop in Bold Blush for an end result that was “shapely and pretty, but not overly defined or too bold in color.”
Not only is this look simple to attain on your own, but it’s budget-conscious, too, and each product is a staple you’ll use again and again. So what are you waiting for? Go try it out, and give Blake a run for her red-carpet money!
